The Monterey Bay Aquarium knows and will tell all Friday, 3/20, in its Secret Lives of Seahorses webcast beginning at Noon pacific/3 p.m. eastern.

You won’t want to miss this! Participants will get a behind-the-scenes look at the aquarium’s new exhibit of the same name, which opens April 6th.

Learn about these tiny, mysterious, chameleon-like creatures that are not only cute, they need your help to protect them, and Monterey Bay Aquarium experts will tell you how, along with many amazing facts about these anything-but-ordinary, thoroughly intricate creatures. Oh, and they’ll answer your questions, too!

Never participated in a web cast before? “Think radio interview show via the internet,” Ken Peterson, communications director at the aquarium, who’s in charge of the webcast, tells O4E.

Here’s how it works:

First, log onto the webcast website and register. Then, enjoy behind-the-scenes video of the exhibit, as well as still photos of sea horses, dragon fish, pipefish, and more. While you listen to Ken interview sea horse experts, you can type in and submit your own questions to be relayed to the interviewers to answer during the program, which will last one hour.
